As of February 2016, the real estate inventory is about to establish a bottom and head north. If we are correct in our assumptions, there are more houses about to enter the market in coming months. As a result, this will create more supply, pricing preassure and wider spread between asking and selling price. Good for the buyers and not so good for the sellers!
Sellers/Civilians: – Right now is not the time to be Penny wise and pound foolish! Don’t be a deer caught in the headlights!
Investors: – You need to be quick and have “good spread”. Factor-in softer prices ahead and higher carrying costs.
Buyers/Civilians: If you need to buy it now, be selective and don’t be afraid to ask for Seller’s contributions. If you can wait, wait 6 months and you will have better choices and “softer” prices.
